La Leche League Information Sheets
These are the official La Leche League sheets as distributed through their website and breastfeeding counsellors.
Renowned for their years of experience and their simple no-nonsense help for new mothers, LLL have been providing support and comfort to their members for decades. Now you can get essence of La Leche League in an easy to read, handy format.
They provide a mine of information on each topic and are a great handy guide when you can't face ploughing your way through a reference book and may not be quite ready for a helpline. (Plus by the time you have found time to go on line, find a number, pay your membership to whichever organisation you choose and then called, you could have got all the info you need from just one of these sheets!)
We find them to be the best single sheet source of information available out there. Cheaper than a book, more permanent than any internet search and certainly as accurate as any feedback you would get in person from an expert, these are a really great stand-by for those times when you can't help feeling you need more info before you act.

Workday Practicalities (2912) - This sheet provides some useful tips for combining the return to paid work with continued breastfeeding.
Breastfeeding Basics (2911) - This sheet provides useful information on starting breastfeeding and gives advice and guidance on some of the more common situations a new mum can encounter in the first few months
Dads are Special (2812) - This information sheet provides useful information on how dad's words, actions and support can help establish breastfeeding and also how dad can build a special bond in the absence of being able to nurse the new baby himself.
Out and About with Your Breastfed Baby (2804) - This sheet contains a wealth of information on getting out and about with your portable breastfed baby. Also includes useful info on travelling with a little one.
Rhythms and Routines (2809) - This information sheet can help you adapt a routine that suits you, your baby and your family without trying to make the baby fit a one-size fits all regime.
